The shooting
Just thought i’d take a break from my hiatus to say that my heart goes out to the families of the victims at the shooting. Those poor kids did not deserve this, and this is exactly why we need stronger gun control laws. How many deaths will it take, America?

I don’t know exactly what video it was as the photoset was just a reblog, but i know Dan has a collection of video responses to his fans on his facebook, it’s from one of those videos.
Apologies, Farewells, and New Beginnings.
Ok I know, I know. I’ve been really inactive lately, I haven’t been reblogging any nagron or posting any new fics but in all honesty, I’m losing my creativity. And with the next season of spartacus still quite a ways away… well, whatever. What i’m trying to say here is that i’ll be taking a bit of a hiatus from StainedGray and the nagron/spartacus tag. I mean, i’ll drop by every now and then, but I’ll be diverting most of my attention to my new obsession, Game of Thrones, but more importantly, Jon Snow (kit harington). I’ve even made a new tumblr just for it, which can be found here. I encourage all of you to give the show a try, it is absolutely fantastic. Lots of fighting, gore, and sex. Spartacus fans should really like it.
Anyway, feel free to follow that blog. It’s new so I’ve yet to really start posting, but it should be filled up within a day or two. So once again, spartacus fans, I bid thee farewell until January rolls by, or until I’m really craving some Nagron. It’s been great fangirl/boying with you through all of the heart wrenching, steamy, and “WTF just happened” moments that this wonderful show has provided, and i’m sure there will be more of the same to come. I love you all!

EVERYTHING HURTS **spoilers**
Ok I don’t even know where to begin. It’s already been established that the finale was quite possibly the best episode ever in the history of all shows ever. Moving on from that, I think it’s time that we took a moment to mourn the loss of our loved ones.
Mira, I have to admit, we got off to a rocky start. I thought you were annoying, continuously oblivious to the fact that Spartacus just lost his wife, and useless to the rebellion’s efforts. But my god, you made me eat those words. From shooting blonde bimbos to coming to spartacus’ rescue many, many times, you’re really proven yourself to be an invaluable warrior, and a caring mother figure to all. You deserved better than Spartacus.
Ashur. You made me change my opinion of you so many times this season. Sometimes I wonder, if the gladiators had truly treated you as a brother, would you have turned out like this? But that doesn’t matter now. You reap what you sow, and your balls paid the price. I will not miss you, and for what you did to our heroes, you deserved death. And no better person to serve it to you than Naevia.
Oenomaus, you are one of the bravest characters on the show. You gave the gladiators in the rebellion the skills they needed to earn their freedom, and you went through so much pain and suffering, and still came out of it with glory. It is a shame to have your death be on the hands of that stupid Egyptian, and not a gladiator, but what’s done is done. You will be sorely missed.
You two are the most conniving, backstabbing women on this show, and at the same time, you stand my favorites. Lucretia, the show will simply not be the same without you. My god you are one crazy bitch. I honestly don’t know how I can go on without you. You just brought a flare that put the rest of the characters to shame. Ilithyia, I honestly hated you for a good portion of the show. You ruined so many lives, and have taken just as many. But I began to feel sorry for you, and I loved your relationship with Lucretia. But it looks like you two were simply not meant to be. In the end, this was coming to you, to the both of you, but that does not mean that you will be forgotten anytime soon. Both of you have set a very high standard of acting for the women on this show.
Glaber I hate you and I’m glad you’re dead. Kthx.
